This month’s self-portrait challenge is to use online tools to create or enhance your image.
Eh, leaves me a little cold. Many of the tools do everything for you which means it takes no creativity on my part and some of the others remind me of the first time I sat at a computer 20+ years ago and was fascinated by the paint program that let you doodle and scribble in ten different colors - weeeee. Between the paint program and hangman, I couldn’t really think of any other use for a computer at the time. Ha, that’s funny, I can’t live without them now.
That being said, I did find the face transformer somewhat interesting and also incredibly creepy. Here’s one that doesn’t scare me, it’s a “Botticelli.”

Here’s one that scares the crap out of me. It’s “masculinized” and I find it overwhelmingly disturbing, which means that I’ll probably take a pile of new photos just to put them through this filter to see if I can completely mortify myself.

I think I look like a washed-up, has-been, ex-rocker from the 70’s, forever embittered due to the lead singer leaving the band for a successful solo career.
Or perhaps, Kevin Bacon’s ugly older brother forever embittered due to the success of Kevin’s acting career.
Either way, this guy looks like a real bastard.
